Bringing up the rear, Alanna allows herself the luxury of examining the skylight and taking in the view before she crouches down beside the others. As Goldy unloads her equipment, Alanna starts chewing on her thumb.

"I'm starting to understand our earlier conversation. Equal height or below, I presume?"
Aiming higher might be especially tricky, she thinks.
