The shake is responded to with a full body jerk, as Miho's eyes fly open. She screams, and lashes out at whatever is touching her, still more asleep than awake, and still caught in whatever nightmare she's been reliving every time her eyes close for the last too many weeks.
She scrambles bolt upright in the bed, eyes wide, covers clutched to her.
